Welcome to Beverly Youth Lacrosse!
We are a group of passionate volunteers devoted to teaching the game of lacrosse in a fun and nurturing environment. We aim to provide kids the opportunity to learn the game, develop their skills and compete against teams from other towns. The Board, coaches and volunteers want all our young athletes to grow, have fun playing and develop a love for this great game.
BYL is a member of Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse (MYL) League. Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse (MYL), formerly Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL), is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, founded in 1992 by a group of town youth lacrosse programs that had the common goal to promote the growth of the game of lacrosse throughout Massachusetts by providing leadership, guidance, training, and structure to anyone interested in lacrosse. Over 110 town programs participate in MYL with over 1,000 teams and 14,000 players participating in an 8-week Spring Season followed by the largest youth lacrosse Jamboree in the country over two weekends in Devens, MA. In the Spring of 2022, a new Girls League launched with 21 town programs and 2,000 girls players. Over 70 girls programs will be participating in 2023.
We assign players in accordance with the MYL grade-based designations. Our teams play all regular season games on Sundays from April until early June. For more on the rules check out the MYL and US Lacrosse sites.
